The Foundation engages in a number of activities throughout the year to raise funds for the District. They are briefly described below. For more information about any of these programs, contact Chris Macon.
Friends of the Foundation
Joining the Friends of the Foundation is an option the parents/guardians can take advantage of when they register their student each year. There is a place on the fee statement to choose to be a “Friend” for $15 per year. Funds raised through this program are used to fund Enrichment Grants for teachers or at the discretion of the Foundation according to the priorities of the District.
Tailgate Knight
An annual cookout and “friendraiser” prior to the first home football game of the year. The cost is only $10 per person for all you can eat. Tailgaters can decide where they want the proceeds from their ticket to go, Athletics, Academics or the Fine Arts.
Annual Campaign
The Annual Campaign is a direct mail solicitation of Nicolet stakeholders, typically done at the end of the calendar year, to secure unrestricted income to be used in the area of greatest need.
Knight on the Town
This is the annual benefit gala to raise funds for Enrichment Grants. The evening includes food, entertainment, silent and voice auctions.
Gift Brick Program
“Gift Bricks” are personalized engraved bricks that become part of the “Circle of Friends” on the Nicolet campus. Bricks make special gifts for students or alumni, or can be used to pay tribute to or memorialize someone special. Click on Brick Order for a form that you can print and mail.
Pick’n Save’s We Care Program
Designate Nicolet as the non-profit of your choice and the district will receive a percentage of your shopping dollars every time you use your Advantage Plus Savers Card. Register your card at the service desk with Nicolet’s ID number, 547000.
Target’s Take Charge of Education. Nicolet will receive an amount equal to 1% of Target Visa and Target Guest Card purchases made at Target Stores and online at www.target.com. Apply for your card at any Target store or online by visiting the Target website.
