Nicolet senior Sophia Frioui is a recipient of the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Scholarship in the College Credit in High School (CCIHS) program through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for Spanish 202 (Spanish 5 Honors at Nicolet).
As stated in the scholarship letter to Sophia:
Receiving this award highlights your dedication and commitment to your education and serves as a testament to you and your incredible potential. Your success in being awarded this scholarship for your CCIHS course is in recognition of your commitment to academic excellence. The Nicolet Athletics Booster Club is proud to support our student-athletes through scholarships, equipment and much more. One of the ways the Booster Club raises money is by operating the Nicolet concession stands during events throughout the year. Our current concession stand manager is retiring at the end of the school year, so we need another manager (or 2 or 3) to help keep our hungry and thirsty fans happy, and so we can continue to support our student-athletes. The annual Spanish 4H and 5 AP Food Drive is hitting the ground running this Monday, October 30th and will finish on Friday, November 10th! We set ambitious goals this year and would greatly appreciate any and all possible donations! Our goals are as follows: 25,000 non-perishable food items (cans!) AND $6,000. We are working with Feeding America Southeastern Wisconsin and will be donating food items to United Migrant Opportunity Services. These organizations serve many Spanish-speaking citizens of Milwaukee.

Start your holiday shopping at the 16th Annual Autumn Artisan's Fair on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00am - 3:00pm at Nicolet High School 🍂
The event will showcase over 50 vendors from southeastern Wisconsin! Items that vendors will be selling include hand crafted items, baked goods, glass art and much more! The event will feature a silent auction of some of the vendors’ work with proceeds benefiting the Nicolet special education department.

The Nicolet Introduction to Teaching class volunteered to work with 4th grade students at the Stormonth Kindness Retreat. This past Friday Nicolet students were surprised with many thank you notes and drawings from the Stormonth students. It was a fun way to end the week❗️
