We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to the Nicolet Black Student Union students for stepping up as amazing mentors to the Maple Dale students! Your advice and guidance on those tough life topics and scenarios are absolutely invaluable. The younger students were totally inspired by your energy and insights.
Whether you were talking about handling peer pressure, being a good friend, or chasing your dreams, you guys brought the influence and made a real difference. Your passion and willingness to share your experiences meant the world to them👏

Our Nicolet Ceramics students just wrapped up a heartwarming collaboration with the 2nd graders at Parkway Elementary School👹
Since February, our high school artists have been working as professional "monster makers" for their 2nd-grade clients. Each of the 95 custom clay monsters was specially designed and sculpted based on the unique drawings provided by their young partners.
The highlight of the project was the in-person delivery—the sheer excitement when the 2nd graders finally met their 3D "monstrous" friends was truly special for everyone involved.
New this year: We’ve created a 2026 Monsters Collaboration Website to share the full experience! You can check out our student portfolios, see the step-by-step process of how these monsters were made, and view photos and videos from the delivery day. It’s all there for the community to share in our collaboration!

We love seeing our students use their talents and months of dedication to bring joy and creativity to our community. Way to go, Ceramics classes 👏

Román Cabán has been selected as the recipient of the Rotary Club’s "Service Above Self" award 👏
Román is a junior at Nicolet High School, who demonstrates a commitment to the community through service and volunteerism, impeccable character, and high academic potential and performance. He is a positive and caring leader whether in the classroom, as part of a club, on a team, or as part of both Nicolet and the greater community. Román serves as a peer tutor and is an active member of our track and cross country teams, HOSA/Red Cross Club, Environmental Club and our Ski/Snowboarding Club. His work ethic, inquiry for more, and kind nature are aspects that lift students to achieve more and simply to be better just by being around him. Román was nominated for Student of the Month for Math, due to his leadership within our classroom walls and the way he naturally pushes those around him to seek more for themselves. He is excited to learn and is always willing to share what he knows to help others. Román is described by his teachers as absolutely fantastic, kind, thoughtful, uplifting and so very deserving of the Service Above Self Award.

Twenty-eight students from the Nicolet High School Performing Arts Department recently completed a highly successful cultural and educational tour of London, United Kingdom . The immersive trip, led by Jamin Hoffman, was specifically designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and professional practice in music and theater.
Students gained professional inspiration by attending world-class performances, including Hamilton, Hadestown, and My Neighbor Totoro. Educational highlights included a performance by the Guildhall Jazz Voices and a technical visit to the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, offering a direct look at international collegiate-level arts education.
For many students, this was their first international experience. They successfully navigated the complexities of a global city, managed their own schedules, and used the London Underground (Tube) system, leading to visible gains in maturity and independence. The program proved life-altering for some, such as graduating senior and bass player Jakai Norman, who found vocational clarity to pursue music as a career.
The tour was a resounding success, moving beyond sightseeing to become a foundational educational experience. Students returned with greater technical inspiration and a deeper understanding of their place in the global arts community.
