Nicolet math teacher Sara Glodoski and students attended the 38th Annual Actuarial Science Day at Northwestern Mutual in downtown Milwaukee. The Actuarial Science Career Day is intended to give students interested in mathematics an opportunity to learn more about the actuarial profession and the wealth of opportunities available in this unique field. The sessions were targeted towards high school students who are beginning to think about colleges and career paths. The day consisted of short sessions covering topics such as colleges and majors, actuarial exams, internships, and career paths.

Nicolet Concert Choir students rehearsed today at the Bradley Symphony Center for their upcoming concert with the Milwaukee Symphony 🎶
The Concert Choir was selected through a competitive audition process to join other top-tier choirs from the Greater Milwaukee area for the Teen Choral Partners performance ❗

Nicolet Black Student Union students will showcase icons like Langston Hughes, Duke Ellington, and Josephine Baker and more.
The event will also include a performance by the Nicolet Orchestra.

Join us on Tuesday, February 10th at 6pm for the annual Nicolet FEAR Robot Reveal 🤖
Go behind the scenes as the FEAR students will lead a guided tour of their workspaces and explain how the team collaborates to build a robot. The event includes STEM games for kids, a raffle, and a robot demonstration.

Students are able to start selecting classes in Skyward for the 2026-27 school year. Course selection will close on February 27th. Counselors will meet with students during their English or History classes. Teachers have been encouraged to have discussions with students prior to February 1st about the courses available in their department and provide specific recommendations. The month of February has long been honored as Black History Month, and Nicolet is excited to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. We recognize the importance of these actions occurring not just in the month of February, but year round. In order to highlight Black history and to help celebrate this February, Nicolet’s Black Student Union (BSU) is working to organize several events and activities for students, including: announcements, theme days, and educational posts to help celebrate and appreciate the contributions of Black individuals. Additionally, our Student Services Team is creating an HBCU display for students to explore opportunities at historically black colleges and universities. Students should be on the lookout for more info throughout February❗
