Way to go 👏
This past Friday, the Nicolet Boys Swim and Dive team traveled to Waukesha South to take part in the WIAA Division 2 State Swim and Dive Meet. The Knights got off on the right foot with Tyler Klug finishing 12th in diving. The 200 medley relay, composed of Jude Hill, Jack Sullivan, Brandon Pargamotnkias, and Gabe Nelson, finished 3rd overall and just missed the Nicolet school record in the event by .19 seconds. In the 200 freestyle Jude Hill finished 10th, Connor Freeze finished 9th, and Jack Sullivan won the event for the 4th year in a row. In winning the event, not only did Sullivan reset his own state and school record by swimming a time of 1:37.80, but he became only the 8th male swimmer in WIAA history to win the same event all four years of their high school career. In the 100 butterfly, Brandon Pargamotnikas finished 14th overall. In the 100 freestyle, Jack Sullivan won his second event of the evening in a time of 44.57 seconds, which was fast enough to set another state record and lowered his 2nd fastest time ever in Nicolet history. In the 500 freestyle, Connor Freeze finished 7th overall, matching his 7th place finish last year at the state meet. Jude Hill finished an impressive 3rd overall in the 100 backstroke in a time of 52.59 seconds. That time puts the freshman 3rd all time in Nicolet's history in the event. Brandon Pargamotnikas rounded out the individual swims in the meet by finishing 15th in the 100 breaststroke. In the final event of the night, the 400 freestyle relay team of Connor Freeze, Keegan Burgher, Jude Hill, and Jack Sullivan finished 3rd overall to lock the Knights into 4th place overall as a team. Congratulations go out to everyone who competed in the meet for a job well done‼

The Nicolet Theater Department will be presenting Shrek, The Musical on February 29, March 1 and March 2 at 7:00pm & March 3 at 2:00pm 🎭
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a side splitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.
"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.
Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.
